the Celtic Pop/ Rock Band from Melbourne, Australia, featuring the sensational vocals of mother/daughter Margot Moir (ex- Moir Sisters) and Rae-Emma, together with some of the finest musicians around. The band plays a blend of original music from their debut CD, traditional jigs/ songs and music from artists such as Van Morrison, The Corrs, U2, The Commitments, The Waterboys, etc.

Pete Mitchell – Saxaphones, Percussion
Paul Jamieson – Guitar, Lead Vocals, Percussion
Scott Hay – Drums
Vince Wienckowsky – Double Bass, Electric Bass
All members of Sugar Blue are seasoned professionals and take pride in their presentation and equipment.
Paul has performed at numerous functions, major events and festivals across Australia.
These include the Crown Casino, Lassiters Casino, The Spirit of Tasmania (boat), The St.Kilda Festival, Menzies Rialto, Brighton International and the Maroondah Festival.
Pete also draws on wide experiences having been leader of his own bands and a member of well-known big-bands. He has toured Australia and Internationally.
Scott is a well respected Melbourne drummer well established in the jazz scene. He appears regularly at Dizzy’s jazz club along with Paris Cat, Manchester Lane and Crown Casino.
Vince also has wide experience in the Melbourne music scene having appeared at venues too numerous to mention. Many of the dates in recent times have been with Paul and Pete.

ZINGARO
play the best songs from the Gypsy Kings Babaleo, Volare, Baila Me, Un Amor and other classics like Guantanamera, La Bamba, Tico Tico, Bessame Mucho, L'Italiano.
They have over 100 songs in their repertoire ranging from Rhumbas to Salsa, Samba, Latin Rock, funk, Waltzes, Tangos and dinner music (Latin jazz and ballads).
Lead singer Ced Le Meledo is French with one - third Spanish ancestry enables him to sing in Spanish as well and French and English. He formed Zingaro 4 years ago and leads the band with great singing, accomplished guitar work and an overall enthusiastic presence.

RUBY AND GINGER
Ruby and Ginger are irresistibly exuberant and hopelessly nostalgic. Accompanied by their debonair pianist and charming double bassist, this is a cabaret show that gets the audience involved.
They dance, sing and tango with their guests & their castanets bring out the latin blood in us all.
With exquisite harmonies and gorgeous gowns Ruby and Ginger are an absolute delight!
Songs include classics from Gershwin, Cole Porter, a little bit of kitsch from Barry Manilow and ABBA and whole lotta big tunes from Dean Martin and Tom Jones done in a big big way!

Introducing Mama Fresh, a meeting of musical minds that is heaven-sent! Mama Fresh consists of some of Melbourne's hottest young jazz and funk musicians, who have the funk in their soul and a lotta love to share around.
Performing a diverse and uplifting body of material, Mama Fresh brings back the free and improvisational element to the funk. As individuals, their credentials are impressive. In recent years all 6 members of the band have performed in projects spanning blues, jazz, rock, folk, world and electronic music.
These musicians bring to Mama Fresh a wealth of experience and their insatiable love for music.
Mama Fresh can be reduced to a quartet for smaller events or venues or increased to a 3 piece horn section for larger events. |
