TOTTIE GOLDSMITH

To describe Tottie Goldsmith as "multi-talented" is a gross understatement.

Tottie was born into a showbiz family:- her father Brian, the doyen of the Melbourne night-club industry and her aunt, Olivia Newton-John, providing early inspiration along with dance teachers Antonio Rodrigez and Ronnie Arnold.

As a founding member of the band "The Chantoozies", Tottie toured Australia many times, appearing on every imaginable entertainment program and sold over 200,000 records. Upon leaving the band, Tottie embarked on a solo career…more singing and studying acting with the prestigious Beverly Hills Playhouse and Janet Alhanti's workshops in Los Angeles. On return to Australia Tottie landed the female lead in Beyond Production's Fire which was followed by a guest appearance in Bryan Brown's Twisted Tales playing opposite Academy Award winner Geoffrey Rush.

Adding but yet another string to her bow, Tottie, in 1996, signed on as host of Channel 10's controversial series Sex/Life which became one of Australia's most talked about shows. During this time Tottie also hosted Channel 10's coverage of the 1997 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and 40 Year of Television. As if 1997 wasn't busy enough Tottie yet again displayed an ability to successfully conquer new challenges headlining Melbourne's top rating breakfast program on TTFM. After wading through various possibilities in 1998, Tottie accepted the role of Miss Lynch in Grease - the Arena Spectacular, becoming part of the phenomenon in Australian box office history.

JOHN BLACKMAN

John has been a visible part of Australian radio and television for over 34 years, achieving national recognition through his pivotal role as the voice behind Australia's longest running variety show Hey Hey It's Saturday.

John has endeared himself to audiences of all ages with his droll, spontaneous humour and his laconic sardonic outlook on life.
Recognised for his versatility as the "master of the one-liner", John is in constant demand as compere/host for a wide range of formal, social and corporate occasions. He is equally in demand as a facilitator for conferences and seminars as well as endorsement of advertisers' products, both on radio and television.

It is John Blackman's humour, familiarity and excellent rapport with listeners and viewers alike that have made him one of the most visible personalities in Australian show business, with widely acknowledged acclaim from his peers and associates.

He has also immersed himself in numerous other media-related ventures including several international animation projects with his wife Cecile.

DICKIE KNEE the best known a head on a stick in Australia, was created by John over 20 years ago and developed a cult following on the Nine Network Australia's extremely successful and longest running weekly variety show - HEY HEY IT'S SATURDAY.

Dickie's character has been described as cheeky, sexist, impertinent, irritating, tacky and annoying - but above all, loveable. Dickie has charmed audiences, advertisers and consumers throughout Australia with his anarchistic demeanor and has created a style of humour (with a little help from Blackers) that is unique to Australian television.
