MATT PRESTON

Matt Preston is a food journalist and restaurant critic. Best known for his restaurant column in The Age newspaper’s food section, "Epicure", and as a judge on MasterChef Australia, Preston is also a writer for Vogue Entertaining + Travel and delicious magazines, and a former Creative Director of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival .

Preston was educated at St Phillips Preparatory School in London and Worth Abbey in Sussex and graduated from the University of Kent with a BA Hons in Politics and Government. He began his career in the sales and marketing departments of British magazines, including City Limits where he wrote the "Backhanders" column for five years. He then spent four years with UK magazines, TVTimes and What’s on TV, becoming head of their promotions and marketing department. In 1993, Preston moved to Australia where he worked as an Australian soap opera correspondent for British magazines What’s On TV, TVTimes and Women’s Own.

Preston is a regular food correspondent on a number of publications, including Epicure, a supplement in The Age, Vogue Entertaining & Travel (Senior Editor), Delicious (Senior Editor), Australian Good Taste as the drink reviewer, The Guardian newspaper (UK) and Time Out (London). Preston has a weekly contributor to Epicure since 2000. In this role, he writes a weekly review of a cafe or restaurant. He also writes a weekly column in The Age's A2. Preston is a contributor to The Age Good Food Guide and Food and Wine (US).

BRIAN NANKERVIS

Brian is a performer, writer and producer. He was a primary teacher who fled the classroom to become a waiter at theatre restaurant, The Last Laugh. He was a writer/performer on the hospital soap opera ‘Let The Blood Run Free’ and was a regular on ‘Hey Hey It's Saturday’ as the tortured street poet Raymond J Bartholomeuz.

For the last eleven years, Brian has been writing, producing and co hosting the SBS music quiz show, ‘RocKwiz’. In 2013, Brian narrated and acted in ‘Vandemonian Lags’ for the MONA Gallery in Hobart. In 2012, Brian hosted a series for the Working Dog team on Channel Seven, ‘Pictures Of You’.

Brian does studio warm ups for television shows, contributes to The Age, 774 ABC Radio and Three Triple R. He is an experienced MC for a wide variety of public events and corporate functions. Brian regularly performs a one-hour poetry show in schools.

Other theatre credits include writing and performing in ‘Storming St Kilda By Tram’, ‘On Shifting Sandshoes’ and ‘Full House, No Vacancies’ for Theatreworks and ‘It’s A Dad Thing’ at the Athenaeum Theatre. Brian has written, performed and produced solo shows, ‘From The Cradle To The Grave’ and ‘Open Road’ for the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Brian co-produced and co-wrote ‘Boys and Balls’ for ABC TV and was the producer of ‘Class Clowns’, an annual Comedy Festival project.

CORINNE GRANT

has made a huge impact on the Melbourne comedy scene since leaving her northern Victorian home for the brighter lights. Corinne has appeared on Smallest Room In The House and UpFront Comedy for ABC-TV, Headliners for thecomedychannel, and The Loft Live on Channel 31.

In 1999 Corinne sprang to prominence with more appearances on TV including several on Good News Week; and as one of the writers and key performers on the Channel Nine late night show Rove. In 2000 she continued with Good News Week, did a TV debate for Network Ten and started work on the 2000 series of Rove Live also for the Ten Network. 2001 sees her back on board for another series of Rove Live for the Ten Network and talking about current events in The Glass House with Wil Anderson and Dave Hughes on ABC-TV.

STEVE BEDWELL

The talent of Steve Bedwell is tremendous, he is a television host, a radio personality, a producer, a director, a ARIA nominated recording artist, an author and a very funny comedian.

Each morning the people of Melbourne wake up to the voice of Steve Bedwell for he is the co-host of the top rating Triple M breakfast show 'Bedder's, Tim & Margie for Breakfast'.

RICHARD WILKINS

The name will be familiar to anyone who has lived in Australia, switched on a TV, picked up a magazine or listened to the radio. New Zealand born Richard Wilkins recently celebrated 20 years at the forefront of Australasian television, a milestone in anyone’s language.

Richard moved across the Tasman in 1980 and got his break as the host of MTV Australia. A six year run that established him as one of the country’s hottest properties.

Over the past two decades Richard has interviewed practically every major star in the world of film and music from Billy Connolly, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Diamond, Robbie Williams, Olivia Newton-John, Britney Spears, Barbara Streisand, Barry Humphries / Dame Edna and countless others.
