                 The most authentic Blues Brothers tribute… ever!!! Since 1999 Shake a Tailfeather have been one of Melbourne's premiere corporate showbands.  
                  
                 This nine piece rhythm and blues band capture all the excitement and humour of the legendary film, The Blues Brothers. The vocal and visual likenesses of the main characters Jake and Elwood Blues will astound you as will the musical brilliance of the backing band that includes Melbourne's legendary All Star Horn Section.  
                  
                 The band has performed in every major venue in Melbourne as well as concert performances around Australia. With a show full of great hits from the movie such as Shake a Tailfeather, Gimme Some Lovin', Jailhouse Rock, Rawhide and an amazing rendition of the theme from Peter Gunn that ends with a five piece horn section, the audience cannot help but be drawn into the world of Jake and Elwood and their antics. In fact audience participation is at an all time high during this show; no-one escapes the characters' antics.

               Take a step back in time when flares were out, and big hair and shoulder pads were in. When the yuppie was born, "safe sex" replaced "free love", and we cried as an extra terrestrial "phoned home". The time?....... The decade?..... The eighties!  
                  
                 They were brought together due to the increasing demand of the 80s revival and   the fact that "80s MUSIC RULES!!". They even go as far as to use musical   technology from the 80's with "Simmons" electronic drums "Steinberger" bass   guitars, analogue "Roland" keyboards and all the sequencing gear to go with   it!! 
                    
                 They take you back to when flares were out and shoulder pads and   big hair was in.
