Faulty Towers The Dining Experience
- Home in time for Christmas, it’s the globetrotting show that’s ‘food snortingly funny’ (Australian Stage). This latest tour visits five states and 40 venues over three months.
As ever, absolutely anything can happen as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve guests in their ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant – especially with just a third of the show scripted. On the menu: all the best gags, shambolic service, and a ‘70s style 3-course meal in ‘a two-hour eat, drink and laugh sensation’ (Daily Telegraph). This fully immersive, highly improvised and site-specific comedy theatre continues to be acclaimed around the world by audiences and critics alike.
- ‘too brilliant to miss!’ (The Great Aussie Bite, Sydney Opera House 2014)
- ‘uproariously funny’ (Rip It Up, Adelaide Fringe 2014)
- ‘sublime’ (The West Australian, Fringe World Perth 2014)
- ‘a great comedic night for the senses’ (Theatre People, Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2014)
Faulty Towers The Dining Experience was born in Brisbane in 1997 and made its international debut in 2008 at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it’s sold out every year since. It opened a residency in London’s West End in 2012 and continues there still, ranking consistently high in TripAdvisor’s Top London Performances and Attractions. This year has already seen sold-out seasons in Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, Malaysia and Iceland. October sees its debut in India and the Philippines. Eight teams of cast tour the world non-stop. *
- 'There's a reason this show constantly gets rave reviews. It is brilliant.' (Adelaide Now headline, Adelaide Fringe)
