The Band

Chris Doheny

Chris was the lead singer for Australian band Geisha in 1984 and signed with EMI Records for the World, scoring 8 Australian Top 10 singles between the years 1985 and 1987 and reaching Number 1 with the single "Kabuki".

After the break-up of Geisha, Chris was commissioned to write material for other notable Australian acts such as Daryl Braithwaite (Edge album), James Blundell and Lee Kernaghen as well as international artists Terri Nunn (Berlin) and Andrew Ridgeley (Wham). In the late 80s, Chris also worked with Australian writer-producer Chong Lim on the soundtrack to an ABC made-for-television film titled "Street Angels".

In 1991 Chris released a mini-album entitled "All The Young Dudes" which was later followed by the formation of a new band, Dragonfly, with Craig Harnath (ex. Kids In The kitchen) in 1993. Dragonfly achieved Australian chart success scoring two Top 10 singles titled "River of Love" and "Black Money".
1994 saw the release of the single "More Than A Game", which is currently used as the theme for the Channel 9 Footy Show

The song appeared on the "More Than A Game" album the following year. Chris released another solo single in 1996 titled "Can You Hear The Rain?" and has since continued to perform, touring the country with shows ranging from solo and duo acoustic acts through to fronting rock bands.

Mark Amato

Mark is a musos muso & is in constant demand for live work with a multitude of top name performers.

Mark held the prestigious role of Musical Director on "Good Morning Australia" (1992-2005), for the last two years of the show.

When Mark is not sitting at his piano, you will find him on the sideline cheering on his beloved Essendon Bombers. Not surprisingly, Mark regards the biggest highlight of his time on GMA, so far, as "meeting Kevin Sheedy in person".

You can usually catch Mark playing in live music venues around Melbourne alongside local bands, doing what he does best... entertaining!

To date Mark has worked with the following performers:

Ross Wilson, Jimmy Barnes, Daryl Braithwaite, Renee Geyer, James Reyne, Anthony Callea, Guy Sebastian,  Marcia Hines, Patrick McMahon , Joe Camalleri, Roachford, Gloria Gaynor, Errol Brown, Nick Barker, Rhonda Burchmore, Adam Brand, Matt Hetherington, Normie Rowe, Deborah Conway, John Paul Young, Glenn Shorrock, Brian Cadd, Dale Ryder, Christine Anu, Cotton Keays & Morris, Melinda Schnider, James Blundell

Tom Hosie

A Melbournian drummer, songwriter, Tom began his professional career as drummer for James Freud (ex Models) and Berlin. They had a string of hits including a Number one with Modern Girl.

In 1981 Berlin split and core members James Freud, Roger mason, and Tom returned to England where they had worked with Gary Numan the previous year.

In London Tom built demand for his studio session work whilst exploring London’s varied styles Eventually Tom was scooped up as drummer with British Independent Act Indian in Moscow.

They enjoyed moderate success touring the UK and EUROPE and released 2 singles and an album. During his two year stint with Indians in Moscow Tom wrote and recorded with producers of the mid 80s Nigel gray (The Police) and Mike Hedges (Siouxie & The Banshees and Mark Almond of ‘Tainted Love’ fame).

The Band broke up in 1986 but Tom & former lead singer with Indians in Moscow Adele Nozeder, Ali Mac Mordie of Stiff Little Fingers fame and guitarist Rob Dean of JAPAN began work on a new project. The fever Tree was just that. Unfortunately it did not bear more than the fruits of an EP due to Tom returning home due to Visa restrictions.

Since retuning home Tom has worked actively with various local and overseas acts and is currently writing recording and playing live.

Stephen Morgan

Stephen emerged on the Australian music scene in 1986 when he joined ICEHOUSE recording and touring with the band for the next ten years. As a session musician he has worked with many of

Recently he has and performing with the Dale Ryder Band and Cotton, Keays & Morris.

For the last 10 years Stephen has been a record producer and audio engineer at Rooftop Recording Studio in St Kilda Road, Melbourne.

In August 2006 Stephen was awarded an ARIA for the induction of ICEHOUSE to the ARIA Hall of Fame.

Tommy Rando

Anyone who has seen Tommy Rando perform already knows what the rest of the world is about to discover. Tommy's songs are strong and individual; however, the first thing that captures your attention is the unique tone of his voice, which has a warm and husky texture.

Rando, an Australian singer-songwriter, was helped along by a scholarship grant to the National Guitar Summer Workshop held in Connecticut, New York.

It was there that Tommy was guided to seek out the ingredients that shaped his artistic style. Following his time in New York, Tommy toured the US for BMI hooking up with industry greats such as Jeff Cohen, Seymore Stein and ex-manager to Elton John, John Reid.

Back at home, Tommy has played with Australia's best including: "Taxiride", "Boom Crash Opera" and "Invertigo". He has written songs for Vanessa Amorosi, Lee Harding, Alan Fletcher and Kirsty Crawford to name just a few. With a growing catalogue, Tommy has his tunes playing regularly on the television show "Neighbours" as well as co-writing the Number one ARIA hit "Wasabi" for Australian Idol's Lee Harding.
