THE VIBES ARE...
Michael Trappett is one of Melbourne’s most exciting and experienced entertainers. His on-stage energy is contagious and his ability to work a room keeps audiences on the dance floor all night long. Michael fronts The Vibes and brings to the stage a combination of superior vocal talent, outstanding guitar ability and brilliant on-stage presence. He has performed with some of Australia’s biggest acts including: Bjorn Again, BABBA and Buddy’s Back - The Buddy Holly Show.
Olivia Rezzara is a rising star in the music scene with a voice that can only be described as stunning. Her huge vocal range and fantastic on-stage energy make her captivating to watch. Olivia has had a wealth of live performance experience and has recently spent time touring abroad with the world-renowned ABBA tribute act, Bjorn Again.
Completing the line-up are three dynamic musicians with finely tuned skills. Nathan Xenophontos, a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, is an accomplished orchestral percussionist and an exceptional drummer. Nathan has performed with renowned artists such as Glen Shorrock, Hugh Jackman, Thelma Houston and the In Melbourne Tonight Band.
One of Australia’s finest and most in-demand bass players is Paul Cartwright. His expertise on bass and as a vocalist has seen him performing with some of the industries greatest talents including Glenn Shorrock, Brian Cadd, John Schumann (Redgum), Rob Hurst (Midnight Oil), Mike Rudd (Spectrum), Icehouse and Stevie Wright.
Grant Siedle is a versatile musician and a skilled vocalist. A classically trained pianist, Grant has extended his experience to cover rock, pop and jazz, all of which he performs with great ease. He is a talented songwriter and recently has spent time performing with a popular Melbourne ABBA tribute act as the character Benny.
