JULIA MORRIS

With over twenty years experience performing to crowds all over the world, Julia Morris is one of Australia’s most successful and polished comedy exports and has shared the stage with comedy royalty including Richard Pryor, Jason Alexander, Whoopi Goldberg, Jerry Lewis and Robin Williams.

Julia has been a regular face on Australian television since her debut on New Faces in 1985 and by 1995 she was a household name, hosting or starring in popular shows including Full Frontal, In Melbourne Tonight and Beauty and the Beast.

In November 2011 Julia became Australia’s very first ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and in May 2012 she announced a lead role in House Husbands, a major new drama from Nine Network and Playmaker Media.

As the Lady says, “Dementis Pro Is”! (Translation from Latin = “I’m mad for it”!)

p.s. Yes, Julia’s ‘Lady’ title is real – her husband Dan bought it on the internet as a Christmas present.

However, they soon realised they had something special - and so did their audiences, which steadily grew as word Impro Sundae got around. Impro Sundae is now the longest-running and most successful weekly improv comedy night in Australia, dazzling thousands of punters since its inception.

NICK CODY

FIONA O'LAUGHLIN

Comic, Writer, Broadcaster

When Alice Springs mother of five Fiona O’Loughlin started doing stand-up later in life than most comics, her hilarious stories of housewifery and motherhood were an immediate hit. She’s been enjoying sell-out seasons on the festival circuit ever since. In 2006 she took home the Piece of Wood, an MICF award for funniest show as voted for by other comics. Fiona has taken her story-based stand-up around the world, headlining LA’s world-renowned Improv Comedy Club, playing repeat seasons in Hong Kong and performing at Edinburgh Fringe, Montreal’s invitation-only Just For Laughs and the UK’s oldest, Leicester Comedy Festival.

Fiona’s also been a hit on the telly with guest appearances on Sunrise, Good News Week, Spicks and Specks, The World Stands Up and a heap of Comedy Festival Galas.
