STEVE PHILP

Watching Steve Philp perform is like watching an episode of 80s TV show It’s A Knockout… except he assures us no-one will get hurt! Actor, comedian and former radio announcer, Steve has adapted to everything life has thrown at him.

Steve has been keeping busy, revving up and humouring TV studio audiences as the warm-up guy for TV shows such as Ready Steady Cook, Ronnie Johns Half Hour, The Contest and Celebrity Spelling Bee. He also appeared on camera on the Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia as well as featuring in TV commercials for Career-One.

TROY KINNE

Troy is often recognized from his performance on the The Search for Australia’s Funniest Man DVD featured with FHM magazine in 2006.

Troy had been performing stand up comedy for less than a year prior to this performance and has since won almost every young comic competition in the country. Among which was the ‘You Gotta Be Joking’ competition at the Comic’s Lounge in Melbourne. This win saw Troy receive the prize of a trip to New York to attend the American Institute of Comedy. In only six weeks Troy managed to impress enough of the right people to earn him comedy spots at world famous comedy clubs Caroline’s on Broadway, Stand Up New York and Gotham Comedy Club.

Since returning from New York, Troy has worked for MIX FM and GOLD FM in Melbourne as part of the ‘on air’ promotional street teams.

CHRIS FRANKLIN

Chris Franklin is an Australian stand-up comedian and former sailor for the Royal Australian Navy. He is most famous for writing the song Bloke (a bogan parody of Meredith Brooks' feminist anthem Bitch), which reached #1 on the ARIA Charts.

Through his music, Chris emulates the stereotypical Aussie 'bloke' or 'yobbo', frequently appearing in a flannelet shirt and double plugger thongs. Chris' "Hoganesque" style of comedy is aimed largely at the chief perceived concerns of the 'average' Australian: beer, sport and relationships.

JUSTIN HAMILTON

Justin Hamilton has carved out an incredibly successful career as a stand up comedian and writer while maintaining his unique voice within the Australian Comedy scene. Justin has featured in shows at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival, as a weekly guest on Triple J’s Drive, and has also appeared on The Glass House. His good natured, high-energy ranting has made him a favourite in his home town and the rest of Australia is catching on fast.
