WENDY MATTHEWS

Canadian Wendy Matthews first came to Australia on tour with Glen Shorrock in the 1980s, after which she released her first album Emigré. This album went on to win three ARIA awards. Her second album, Lily, also won two ARIA awards, including Best Single for “The Day You Went Away”. She went on to win Best Female Artist for a third time in 1994 for The Witness Tree, and in 1995 became an Australian citizen. Her most recent album, Stepping Stones, was released in 1999 to critical acclaim.

Wendy demands attention both on record & in her live performances inviting the listener into a very private & beautiful world.

JACK VIDGEN

Congratulations to Australia's Got Talent winner Jack Vidgen who won Channel 7's reality TV show. Again he blew away the judges & the whole of Australia with his voice & will now be signing with Sony records.

Meet 14 year old Jack Vidgen.

He has been singing since he was about 3 years of age and loves it!

Jack is focused on a life in the industry and continues to improve in vocal ability having already gained a lot of experience in live performance.

2010 was a big year for this gifted young artist. Last year alone, Jack was awarded:
- Rotary Club's 'Young Musician of the Year'
- was invited by Mike Baird MP to perform at the annual fundraiser at International College of Management
- won the Warringah Eisteddfod Junior Vocal Championship
- and performed as a featured artist in the NSW Schools Spectacular

He took out 1st Place in Star Search and was invited to sing solo at the prestigious "Hat's Off Concert".

PETER COUSENS

PETER COUSENS

Peter Cousens is one of Australia's most outstanding musical theatre performers; a successful actor, on stage and on television; a cabaret artist; performing at multi- national corporate functions; as a commercial and television presenter and as a recording artist.

His starring roles include Tony in West Side Story; Chris in Miss Saigon; Raoul in the Australian Production of Phantom Of The Opera; Alex in Aspects Of Love; Marius in Les Miserables. Nanki Poo in The Mikado, Eddie in Blood Brothers, Bobby in Company, Ravenal in Show Boat; Anthony and more recently Tobias in Sweeney Todd.
Peter was The Phantom in London's West End production of The Phantom of the Opera for 11 months from April 1997 to March 1998.

In 2002 Peter entertained the Queen at CHOGM and performed with the Australian Army Band at the Toronga Zoo Twighlight Concert, was joined by Marina Prior at Twin Towns on the Gold Coast, hosted the Mo awards and performed for ten weeks A life on Earth at the tiny Clarendon in Katoomba and then for 4000 people at the the Cassegrain Winery, Port Macquarie. A season playing Zac in A Chorus Line followed and more concert work in Prom Praise at the Sydney Town Hall.

Peter has recorded three other successful solo albums; Corner Of The Sky From A Distance. and A life on Earth He has recorded a children's album, Are We Nearly There Yet with Noni Hazelhurst.

GREG CHAMPION

Over the last couple of decades, Greg Champion's many talents have seen him in constant demand for a multitude of entertainment roles - comedian, radio personality, singer, songwriter and compere. Greg's first major solo album, the self-titled Greg Champion, was released on the ABC Country label back in 1990, and the label is delighted that he's now returned to the fold with North and South. The label is also planning to re-release Greg's last two albums, Shady Tree and his Best of Greg Champion collection, in 2004. ABC Enterprises also plan to release another Coodabeen Champions album and Greg's second Guru Bob book in mid-2004.

Other Greg Champion recordings over the years have included country albums Champs and Australian Music; comedy releases Stand Back Australia and That's What I Like About Football Volumes 1 and 2; Greg's two perennially popular Christmas collections with Colin Buchanan, Aussie Christmas with Bucko and Champs volumes 1 and 2; and his releases with The Coodabeens: the Coodabeen Champions 20th Anniversary Celebration Album, The Coodabeen Champions - A Coodabeens Collection and Greg Champion and the Coodabeen Champions Live in Concert at Studio 320.

DENI HINES

Deni Hines is one of the Australia's most awarded and successful female recording artists with no less than 6 Top hits and over 3 million sales worldwide. For the past 18 months Deni has been writing and recording for her brand new album in London, France, US and Australia to be released in early 2004.

Most recently she has guest vocalled on Supafly's "Erotic City" single released worldwide in August as well performing with Shaggy on his Australian tour taking up the vocals reins of Chaka Khan. For the remainder of 2003, Deni's local profile will be at an all time high, with TV appearances, guest columns in major print media and the like.

SILVIE PALADINO

During 1989 Silvie Paladino was offered the role of Eponine in LES MISERABLES, an exciting opportunity for an eighteen year old. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the 1991 Victorian Green Room Awards for her portrayal of Eponine. Silvie continued performing the role for a further twelve months touring Australia and New Zealand to critical acclaim. She received the same recognition in 1992 when she accepted an invitation to perform the role of Eponine on the West End in the London production of LES MISERABLES.

After returning from London in 1992, Silvie played the role of Jeannie in the Australian tour of HAIR. The following year she performed the role of Grizabella in the Australian and Asian tour of CATS and then recreated the role in the show's return season in Sydney. In 1995 Silvie appeared as Ellen in Cameron Mackintosh's Australian premiere of MISS SAIGON at Sydney's Capitol Theatre. For this role she received a nomination for Best Supporting Artist in the highly coveted Mo Awards. Last year, Silvie returned from London after completing a successful two-year season performing the role of Fantine in LES MISERABLES in the West End.
