Todd Hunter's recall is not rose-coloured. "I didn't think I'd ever come back to Dragon," says the band's founder, bassist, sometime songwriter and sole survivor. "There are such mixed memories for me. There were incredible highs but too many people died. I've spent the last 10 years ignoring the whole thing, it was a lot simpler to get on with film and TV scoring and leave Dragon as a distant memory."

History, of course, cherishes a very different view of New Zealand's beleaguered but brilliant pop chart journeymen. A glance down the track list of 'Sunshine' to 'Rain' recalls one of the most astonishing and emotional legacies in Australasian pop history...

Consider everything you think you know about Evermore. Run through their history, of brothers Jon, Peter and Dann Hume growing up in the rural New Zealand town of Feilding and finding
their feet as musicians.

Reflect on their breakthrough 2004 debut Dreams and its beautifully crafted follow-up, 2006’s Real Life, selling platinum and double platinum respectively. Look at their six ARIA Award nominations, two NZ Music Awards, Channel [V] and MTV gongs, and the high esteem in which music fans and peers hold them. Gather those thoughts for a moment – then get ready to be blown away.

Singer/songwriter Wes Carr can be described as many things – overnight success, is not one of them. For most of his 26 years this talented artist has put the hard-graft, determination and commitment into his love of musicianship and creative expression.

Over the years his hard slog has won him scholarships, peer-approval, acclaim, and competitions, but what drives his passion to continue is the truth in his music. It’s this authenticity and musical integrity that will secure him a good place in the charts today, and it’s this that is at the heart of the connection he has with audiences around Australia...

Zoë Badwi - The Artist / Writer / Actor / Model / Presenter

Zoë Badwi is one of Australia's best kept secrets. Working in both the pop and club domain, she is a prolific writer and singer. With 2 top 10 Australian hits already under her belt (with pop act Sirens) lead singer of Black Dogs and an established acting and modeling career, It’s safe to say that Zoë is a busy girl!...

Most of you might already know that the Jimmy Barnes 1991 ‘Soul Deep’ album is not only the biggest seller in his already illustrious solo career, but was also the most successful in Mushroom Records history.

Containing a stellar list of smash-hit soul covers such as ‘I Gotcha’ and ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ alongside Motown classics ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’, ‘Reflections’ and ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)’ it was as successful as it was ground breaking back in the day and as we all know a raft of soul tribute albums has followed in its extraordinary wake...

Jimmy Barnes

With six albums under their belt, the biggest selling album to date is the double-platinum 'Big Bad Noise'. This spawned the evergreen favourites 'Run To Paradise' and 'Boys Will Be Boys'.

The Choirboys have carved a reputation as one of Australia's premier live rock bands. Little has changed as the boys' passion, energy and excitement inspire audiences across the country...
